One of the Largest Sponsors of the Olympics

Duct Tape.
As some of you know the Olympics is about the athletes and the countries they represent. However did you know that all the logos athletes proudly wear throughout the season, must be stripped from their uniforms and race suits to please the IOC. Rule 51 is the law outside the Wax and Service cabins. Sponsors logos are forbidden except on the product itself. This means even the Service Crews must remove or cover up all of the corporate logos, or a special run of clothing must be made. There is also a size limitation of the logos on all the apparel (the title of my blog would be too big). We spent a small part of the day covering up logos so when we go out on the trails, in the start or finish areas we are legal. How serious is this, well the service crew’s were subjected to a one hour meeting to go over Rule 51. Perhaps they could supply us with a set of service clothing, instead of robbing our sponsors of their investment.

Reece brings Madshus logo into size requirements.... we hope!
You will see photos of many Duct Taped items over the next few days
