I just wanted to give you some insight into the workings of the Timing system. Thanks to the forerunners (junior athletes from acrros the country who where selected by their divisions for this honor) who got to play racers, just for the camera crews to practice on. They were assigned race bibs and were to assume the identity of the racer. Along with the bib comes a couple of transponders that are put on each ankle, so if you lead out with your left or right leg your results are would be the same. I would have liked to photograph these athletes skiing buy while up on the big screen but...boy was it snowing.

Snow made it hard to get the big screen and skier at once.
Testing continues at an unbelievable pace, the Norwegians I spoke to did 3 tests per day. With the snow today it would give them another mass of information for this type of fresh snow at this temp vs. the old snow from the first 5 days. They will understand what wax and what grind is running best.
